Cladding and Conservatory

Swain & Rands conservatory roof Dorset project ‘was perfect’

We were contacted in March by the Hough family in Bournemouth who wanted to replace their old conservatory with a new low price lean-to conservatory

Their current conservatory had deteriorated quickly from the water ingress that was found in the client’s home – likely caused by poor workmanship from the original installer.

However, we offered the durable and high-quality cladding and conservatory required for the client. They first thought about a contemporary conservatory Bournemouth residents everywhere would be jealous of. However, decided on the cheaper, but still awe-inspiring, option. Our lean-to conservatories are cheaper but great at allowing extra space. As per the feedback above the named conservatory roof Dorset project really did look perfect.

Our recommendations during this lean to conservatory upgrade

During the consultation with the client, we recommended that weatherboard cladding would prolong the new lean-to conservatory’s lifetime. The low maintenance weatherboard cladding will prevent the risk of water ingress happening again in the future for the client. The team started building the durable lean-to conservatory, which conjoins onto the client’s lounge to extend their living space. We installed a glass roof with A Rated framing and sealed units, as it was important the roofing could withstand all weather conditions. This is the other recommendation we make for our tiled roof conservatories Bournemouth clients.

Around the lean-to conservatory, our installation team added Weatherboard Cladding to protect the integrity of the exterior walls. We recommended yellow Weatherboard Cladding as it perfectly matches the exterior colour of the property. During the project, the client also expressed that they were deliberating about a new door that leads onto their back garden. They wanted a new door that could open in two parts, so they could keep their dog inside their house even when they open the door. We supplied and installed a new timber stable door, that matches the client’s exact brief. The UPVC front doors Bournemouth clients also like are a great option to consider as well.

The Result of the Cladding and Conservatory Upgrade?

The project was completed on the 23rd of March 2018, and the Hough family were delighted with the overall project results. Their garden has been modernised and transformed with the new additions of the stable door, weatherboard cladding, lean-to conservatory and glass roof. Our clients say they would definitely recommend our team’s services from their speediness and professionalism throughout the entire project.
